Rachel is trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy (Levels 1 & 2) and is currently completing the accreditation process with EMDRAA. She uses EMDR to support clients recovering from single-incident trauma (e.g. car accidents or natural disasters), multiple or developmental traumas, and the lingering emotional effects of medical and relational stressors. She also supports neurodivergent clients—particularly those managing experiences related to ARFID, executive functioning challenges, emotion regulation, and social connection.
Rachel draws on a range of evidence-based approaches to suit the individual needs of her clients, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). She creates a collaborative and non-judgmental space that supports clients to build emotional regulation skills, improve relationships, process difficult memories, and reconnect with a sense of self-worth and meaning.
Whether supporting someone through work-related burnout, substance use, or a major life transition, Rachel brings a calming presence, clinical insight, and a deep respect for the courage it takes to seek help.
